Herts Roofing & Construction replaces windows on homes across New Jersey. We measure every opening, install the windows level and square, and flash and seal them so drafts and water stay out. We are an EPA Lead-Safe certified firm for older homes, and we compare energy ratings with you so you know what you are paying for.

Drafts you can feel, condensation or fog between the panes, windows that stick or will not stay open, rotted sills and frames, and high heating and cooling bills all point to windows that are no longer sealing.
What we install
Every quality window carries an NFRC label. The U-factor tells you how well it keeps heat in (lower is better), and the solar heat gain number tells you how much sun heat it lets through.
Homes built before 1978 may have lead paint on window frames. As an EPA Lead-Safe certified firm we follow lead-safe practices when we remove old windows.
Windows are often best done with siding, so the flashing and trim tie in together. We can do both in one project. Book a free inspection.

It depends on how many windows you are replacing and whether any frames need repair. We give you a timeline in the estimate.
If the existing frames are solid, replacement windows fit inside them with less disruption. If the frames are rotted, full-frame or new-construction windows are the better fix. We check each opening and recommend what fits.
