What we do
Insulation keeps heat in the house; ventilation keeps the attic cold and dry. You need both. Adding insulation without baffles can block your soffit vents and make ice dams and moisture worse.
That is why we check the roof, ventilation and insulation together, especially on Cape Cods and older homes with finished upstairs rooms.
